Mang Den Arabica Coffee Farm of Mr. Dai grows Arabica at 1,200 m above sea level in Mang Den, Kon Plong district, Kon Tum province, the cool highland plateau where 1300'S Coffee takes its name.
The region
Mang Den sits at 1,000–1,200 m between the Mang Den and Violak passes, about 60 km from Kon Tum city. Often called the "second Da Lat", it is cool all year round, with average temperatures of 16–22°C, humidity around 82% and forest covering more than 70% of the land. Arabica grows best at 1,000–1,500 m and 16–25°C, and Kon Tum is building its "cold-region coffee" (cà phê xứ lạnh) for Arabica in Kon Plong and the neighbouring highland districts.
Trees and variety
Around 30,000 Arabica trees grow in planted beds across 6 hectares. They were planted in 2025.
Farming
An automatic drip irrigation system waters every bed. The farm uses organic fertilisers, and grass is grown as ground cover to keep the soil moist and prevent erosion.
Processing
Cherries are honey processed and sorted to screen 16–18.
Traceability
Mr. Dai works with 1300'S Coffee as a three-party partner farm. Every lot from this farm is tied to one garden, one household and one farming process, so you know exactly where your coffee was grown. Our agronomy team supports the farm through the growing season, and 1300'S Coffee commits to buying the harvest, then processing, grading and delivering the lot you ordered.
