Kon Tum Robusta Coffee Farm of Mr. Tuan grows Robusta at 660 m above sea level in Ngoc Tien village, Bo Y commune, Kon Tum province, in the Central Highlands of Vietnam.
The region
Bo Y commune lies in Ngoc Hoi district in the far north-west of Kon Tum, close to the Bo Y border gate where Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia meet.
Soil and climate
Kon Tum has the tropical monsoon climate of the Central Highlands, with a rainy season from around May to October and a dry season from November to April. Most coffee in the Central Highlands grows on red-brown basalt soils, which are deep, loose and well drained. Coffee blossoms turn the farms white in March and April, and the cherries ripen in the dry months at the end of the year.
Trees
Around 500 Robusta trees grow across 0.5 hectares. Planted in 2021, the trees are now well developed and in production.
Farming
In 2026 Mr. Tuan began trialling an organic fertiliser programme from Kon Tum on his first 100 trees.
Processing
Cherries are processed natural (dry) and sorted to screen 16–18.
Traceability
Mr. Tuan works with 1300'S Coffee as a three-party partner farm. Every lot from this farm is tied to one garden, one household and one farming process, so you know exactly where your coffee was grown. Our agronomy team supports the farm through the growing season, and 1300'S Coffee commits to buying the harvest, then processing, grading and delivering the lot you ordered.
