Kon Tum Robusta Coffee Farm of Mr. Pham Xuan Trung

Kon Tum Robusta Coffee Farm of Mr. Pham Xuan Trung is a young Robusta farm at 580 m above sea level in Dak Rao Nho, Po Ko commune, Dak To district, in Vietnam's Central Highlands province of Kon Tum.

The region
Dak To district lies on the Ho Chi Minh road in northern Kon Tum, where the Po Ko river flows down from Dak Glei on its way to the Se San. Its highland monsoon climate suits coffee, rubber and other perennial crops.

Soil and climate
Kon Tum has the tropical monsoon climate of the Central Highlands, with a rainy season from around May to October and a dry season from November to April. Most coffee in the Central Highlands grows on red-brown basalt soils, which are deep, loose and well drained. Coffee blossoms turn the farms white in March and April, and the cherries ripen in the dry months at the end of the year.

The land
The farm lies on gently sloping hills. A water reservoir at the foot of the hill supplies water to the farm.

Trees and variety
Mr. Trung planted around 800 trees of the Robusta clone TS5 across 0.8 hectares in June 2025.

Farming
Every row is fed by a drip irrigation system, which delivers water directly to the roots.

Processing
Cherries are processed natural (dry) and sorted to screen 16–18.
