Why this lot is worth tasting
Mr. Tuy’s farm was planted in 2019 and its trees are now well developed and in production. In 2026 he began trialling an organic fertiliser programme from Kon Tum on his first 200 trees.
Processing and grading
Cherries are processed natural (dry) by 1300’S Coffee: the whole cherry is dried before the bean is hulled out. Natural processing typically gives Robusta more body and a rounder, sweeter cup than washed processing. The green beans are then sorted to screen 16–18 and graded to moisture 12.5% max, black beans 0.1% max, broken beans 0.3% max and foreign matter 0.1% max.
Who this lot is for
With 90 bags of 20 kg, this lot has the volume to anchor an espresso blend through the season, with every bag traced to the same farm. Natural Robusta works well in espresso blends, where it adds body and crema, in milk-based drinks and cold brew, and in traditional Vietnamese phin coffee and cà phê sữa đá.
Traceability
Every bag in this lot comes from one farm and one household: Kon Tum Robusta Coffee Farm of Mr. Tuy. Our agronomy team supports the farm through the season, and 1300’S Coffee buys, processes, grades and delivers the lot you order.
