Colombia Hulia Supremo – The Nevado del Huila volcano is located in Colombia’s Huila province, which is traversed by the Andes mountain range. Because of this, the climate and mineral-rich soil of the area help to produce a particular kind of coffee that is well-known for its rich, full-bodied character, delectable sweetness, and an abundance of complex fruit flavors.
Huila province is home to small Rainforest Alliance-certified farms, the majority of which span two hectares or less. The primary crop grown on these small farms is Caturra, which is processed conventionally. To extract the coffee bean husk, all processors use manually operated pulping machines that are turned by hand. Additionally, they dry the coffee on raised drying beds, which promote even drying and optimal air circulation for the beans.
The Colombia Supremo Huila coffee has a delicate body with a well-balanced acidity. When you taste it, you get a sweet start with notes of fruit, citrus, and vanilla, and you end up with a hint of sweetness that is accentuated by chocolate.
