Pleiku – Gia Lai is an ideal land for the development of Robusta coffee beans in Vietnam, 1300’s found that the majority of coffee beans from Pleiku have good quality because they are less prone to diseases, grow well in favorable climatic conditions, soil fertility, and convenient altitude.
With an average altitude of 800m above sea level, the same soil as the red basaltic soil and a humid tropical climate, Pleiku is a potential region for cultivating coffee and producing unique Robusta coffee beans. Coffee grown at the Pleiku – Gia Lai farms that had the opportunity to visit in the 1300s will have a strong bitter taste like chocolate, a honey flavor, and a sweet aftertaste.
Soil: Red basaltic soils

At the 1300’s farm in Pleiku, the coffee beans with a ripeness rate of over 98% are handpicked by us in a selective manner, not plucked roughly causing the coffee beans to be crushed, not meeting the quality.
For coffee roasting levels, 1300’s are used: Light, Medium or Dark. Each roast level, coffee will create its own unique flavor and aroma. Modern roasting technology allows coffee beans to ripen evenly, without burning, retaining the most delicious flavor. Depending on your preferences and coffee taste, 1300’s will advise you on the appropriate roast level.
Pleiku Specialty Coffee has a strong, bitter taste like chocolate, a honey flavor, and a sweet aftertaste.
Even though we have tasted coffee from many different regions during the 1300s, the Robusta coffee from Gia Lai continues to enthrall us with its powerful, seductive aftertaste and rich, delectable flavor. 1300s will go hand in hand with Gia Lai’s coffee growers, helping to broaden Vietnamese coffee culture and meet the highest standards set by global consumers and markets.
