Vietnam’s tropical climate, paired with mountainous highland and rich soil, creates an exceptional condition for plants to grow. On our journey to seek out the best coffee-growing regions in Vietnam, each place we visit has its own special soil and climate, giving the coffee beans their own unique taste. 1300’s always accompany coffee farmers to nurture and care for coffee trees. We have selected fertile coffee growing areas with high-quality coffee yields to create exported coffee products with unique flavors that are unique and premium, meeting the standards of coffee experts. Explore seven specialty coffee-growing regions in Vietnam

With the mission of providing quality, clean and quintessential coffee beverage products to affirm the position of the Vietnamese coffee brand on the world map, we pay special attention to investing in raw material growing areas – good raw material areas provide uniform coffee beans with delicious flavor and unique value. We are proud to be the ones who explore and select the most suitable growing areas for coffee products, to meet export standards to major international markets.

Large and famous coffee-growing regions in Vietnam:

1. SON LA: With rugged terrain in the Northwest mountains at an altitude of 1000m above sea level, this place has a harsh climate with heavy rain, heat and cold in the winter, however Arabica coffee trees are very adapted and suitable for the soil here, producing Arabica coffee beans with many flavors, sour, faint aroma of Northwest wild orange, mild bitterness and sweet aftertaste of honey.

2. KHE SANH – QUANG TRI: With an altitude of 1000m above sea level, the soil and climate are very suitable for Arabica coffee trees to grow well. The Arabica coffee beans here have a unique flavor like the scent of roasted grains, green tea, and a sweet aftertaste.

3. MANG DEN – KON TUM: With an altitude of 1350m above sea level, the climate is cool all year round, surrounding the coffee fields is a large area of intact primeval forest. Arabica specialties here are something that even the best coffee connoisseurs cannot ignore.

4. DAK HA – KON TUM: With an altitude of 800m above sea level, Dak Ha owns large areas of quality Robusta coffee, regulated by the vast Poko River with beautiful scenery. The Robusta coffee tree is characterized by a strong taste, little acidity, diverse flavors, and a sweet aftertaste. Diverse fruit flavors, mild sour taste, characteristic sweet aftertaste.

5. PLEIKU – GIA LAI: With an altitude of 800m above sea level, this is the ideal land to produce premium Robusta coffee beans with rich flavor and sweet aftertaste. Chu Dang Ya volcanic area, Gia Lai converges wonderful natural conditions, with the vast Pleiku lake and Basalt red soil formed from the weathering process of lava over millions of years. Chu Dang Ya coffee beans inherit the quintessence of flavors of the typical volcanic land, which are the smell of mineral smoke, chocolate, and honey with a sweet aftertaste.

6. CAU DAT – LAM DONG: With an altitude of over 1400m above sea level. This place is famous for Arabica coffee beans of excellent quality and diverse, strong aroma. Total area is 50,000 hectares, of with Arabica uses 30,000 hectares, the remaining 20,000 hectares is Robusta coffee.

7. BUON ME THUOT – DAK LAK: Dak Lak is one of the most well-known export regions for Vietnamese Robusta coffee trees. Dak Lak’s Robusta coffee is distinguished from coffee from other regions by its superior aroma and aftertaste, which is attributed to the red basalt soil, 650 meters above sea level, cool climate, and copious amounts of rainfall. Strong flavor, strong aroma, and high caffeine content characterize Dak Lak Robusta coffee.

In addition to 10 hectares of Robusta coffee, we also connects with local people growing coffee according to VietGAP standards at a number of cooperatives in Dak Ha district – Kon Tum.
